Ginger has along history of alleviating nausea and reducing joint pain. Iced ginger limeade or lemonade is a refreshing drink anytime. It makes a delicious ice slush too! ? ?

  • Lemon Juice - 2 small lemons or limes
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Water -1½ cups
  • Sweetener, your choice - to your taste
  • Ice
How to prepare
  1. Squeeze juice from fresh lemons or limes.
  2. Peel fresh ginger, slice and then process in blender with ½ cup of the water.
  3. Add remainder of water, juice and sweetener to the ginger water in the blender.
  4. Blend all ingredients a few seconds, until it looks frothy.
  5. Pour over ice,
  6. Enjoy!
Note: Strain if you don't want the ginger pulp. However, some pulp is good for digestion and anti-inflammatory benefit. Add more or less water/juice for the degree of desired tartness or the amount.
