Ginger has along history of alleviating nausea and reducing joint pain. Iced ginger limeade or lemonade is a refreshing drink anytime. It makes a delicious ice slush too! ?

Ingredients
- Lemon Juice - 2 small lemons or limes
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Water -1½ cups
- Sweetener, your choice - to your taste
- Ice
How to prepare
- Squeeze juice from fresh lemons or limes.
- Peel fresh ginger, slice and then process in blender with ½ cup of the water.
- Add remainder of water, juice and sweetener to the ginger water in the blender.
- Blend all ingredients a few seconds, until it looks frothy.
- Pour over ice,
- Enjoy!
Notes
Note: Strain if you don't want the ginger pulp. However, some pulp is good for digestion and anti-inflammatory benefit. Add more or less water/juice for the degree of desired tartness or the amount.
